What you need to know is that it’s not always easy to talk about yourself and especially to introduce yourself.
I’ve written the text below, so it’s up to you to see what needs to be kept, taken out or improved. Because you have a useful outside view.
“Hi, I am Aleth Felix-Tchicaya the Founder and President of Les Enfants d’Aleth-USA,Inc (L.E.A.) / Aleth’s Children.
Since 2001, 24 years, I’ve been dedicated to charitable and humanitarian causes.

I’m a humanist and humanitarian. Having lived on 3 continents, I like to think of myself as a tree:
– My roots are deep-rooted and African: I was born in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo) in 1955. I worked as a collaborator at the Ministry of Cooperation, then as a Diplomatic Attaché and Chargée de Mission for the Presidency of the Republic.
I traveled throughout North Africa, West Africa, East Africa, Central Africa and Southern Africa.
The L.E.A. (Les Enfants d’Aleth) movement was born in the Congo in 2001. I am known as “Mama Aleth”.
I know how and why poverty manifests itself in Africa.
– I grew up in France, lived and studied at university (Political Science and International Relations) in Belgium, where I set up Les Enfants d’Aleth /A.I.S.B.L (Association Internationale Sans But Lucatif) in 2007, and lived in Switzerland.
I know where poverty in Europe can hide and how to find it.
-My American branches are bearing fruit: Les Enfants d’Aleth- USA,Inc was founded in 2011. We provide emergency aid and basic necessities.

Now a Citizen, and having worked in shelters and with migrants on a daily basis in New York as Community Coordinator at the Department Of Education (Mid Manhattan Adult Learning Center).
I’ve seen poverty in New York and I know how it can also be linked to immigration.
Yes, I’ve been blessed to have lived and worked in 3 continents and to have made so many trips to Asia (China, India, North Korea, Sri Lanka) and the Caribbean (Haiti, Dominican Republic).
